Bag it, Mommies
When women have children, they still like to shop. I guess. I wouldn’t know:
1. I have no children.
2. I’ve never liked shopping.
However, Manhattan moms may like to shop so this is a good thing for them. Moms On Madison is sponsored by Cookie Magazine and Divalyssious Moms. Divalyssious Moms founder, Lyss Stern (hence the wackadoo spelling–I’m betting her name is Alyssa anyway), has created a great day for moms.
On September 8, 2007 between 9 and 11 AM, Madison Avenue (57th — 86th Sts) will become family friendly for the third year in a row. “No Strollers Allowed” signs will be replaced by lots of children’s entertainment. Mommies will have access to Bonpoint, Calypso, Catimini, Chloé, David Yurman, DKNY, Fragments, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, Liz Lange Maternity, Oilily, Petit Bateau and Ralph Lauren.
To top it all off, the event benefits the non-profit charity organization The Art of Elysium.
